Seth Godin, is the man who inspired me to write my thoughts out on a blog. Especially, since I share a common appreciation for innovation and change. I hope to become an accomplished writer on this subject.
In order to start off my blog, I’ve decided to post a comment that I wrote for the internal blog belonging to the CEO of a company I used to work for.
His original blog, talked about Facebook, and how it could be useful to businesses – and he discussed the use of it throughout our working day.
Obviously, IT didn’t like Facebook too much. There is a distinct drain on any system that has to put up with people frantically reading messages, wall posts and sending each other a plethora of silly apps. But here was a CEO, the big brass of a massive company, suggesting that it is good for business: as these days, we don’t communicate that much, and if Facebook does anything – it does facilitate communication.
Alas, there were so many other areas needing to be looked at, which I’m sure he’s on the way to fixing. It was at this time I decided to share a few thoughts on the business.
Follows (the next post) are my comments to him, and the rest of the business.
