Solutions Orientation

I like to come up with my own terminoloy sometimes - and here’s one of my favourates.

As with the word ‘orienteering’, with which my term shares its etymology, Solutions Orientation can be described as:

The understanding, and skill, of being able to navigate ones way toward a desired way-point over a given terrain.

So too can we see the relationship with the word ‘orientate’, which see the useage of:

Facing the right way [up].

The term Solutions Orientation really is about finding solutions to problems, but first and foremost it’s about the automatic inclination to look towards a solution.

Are you Solutions Orientated?
